Hi! I’m Christina, a copywriter passionate about helping local communities thrive by strengthening businesses' online presence. I specialize in website copy, social media, and all things digital writing to ensure vital services and resources reach the people who need them. With a degree in Advertising and a minor in Digital Humanities from the University of Oregon, I use storytelling and strategy to bridge gaps, spark conversations, and build meaningful connections.

My Story

I started my writing journey in high school as a yearbook photographer and copywriter. At first, I was drawn to photography, but I quickly realized my true passion was storytelling—capturing moments and giving them meaning through words.

That passion led me to college as an aspiring journalist, eager to shed light on important events in my community. But as I worked toward my journalism degree, I had a sudden aha moment. While I loved storytelling, I began to see the limitations of journalism.

So, I pivoted to advertising. I wanted a creative career that allowed me to keep writing for people. But that shift wasn’t easy. At first, I struggled with the idea. How could I go from an aspiring journalist, someone dedicated to informing the public, to selling products? It felt like I was giving in to the claws of capitalism.

Then, I realized advertising isn’t just about selling. It’s about connection. The right words and digital strategy can help small businesses thrive, yet so many amazing businesses aren’t taking full advantage of the online space. These businesses aren’t just about making money. They build community, create experiences, and enrich people’s lives. They’re run by people who pour their hearts into what they do, working not just for themselves but for their families, pets, and loved ones.

That’s when my perspective shifted. It’s like that saying we’ve all heard a million times: With great power comes great responsibility. It’s a line that’s overused because it holds truth. I started seeing advertising as more than just an industry. It’s a tool. When used correctly, it can uplift small businesses, help people find the resources they need, and strengthen communities.
